Jet2 to base second plane at Blackpool airport

Low-cost airline Jet2 is to double its fleet at Blackpool Airport next year from one to two planes. After the success of its first service from Blackpool to Belfast, the Leeds Bradford based airline said it planned to add further city break routes from the airport, using a second plane.
Last week's sellout first flight to Northern Ireland has been followed up by a week of successful flights on the route - which have led to Jet2 bosses expanding their fleet from one to two at Blackpool airport.
But bosses at the company are keeping tight-lipped about where they plan to fly to next. Destinations under consideration are said to include Munich, Paris and Turin.
