Jet2 annouce winter ski route

Budget airline Jet2 has announced that it will operate a new service to Geneva from Blackpool Airport this winter for the ski season. The city is a gateway to some of the most popular skiing in the Swiss Alps.
The flights start on December 13 and run until mid-April, with prices starting from £29.99 one way including taxes. It is the first route to be announced since new owner Balfour Beatty took over the airport earlier this month and takes the number of destinations served by Jet2 from the hub to 9.
