Jet2 announce Blackpool - Malaga flights

Low cost airline Jet2 has unveiled a new route from Blackpool Airport. From March 2007, passengers will be able to fly off to Malaga on the Costa Del Sol, with five flights a week.
The new flight is the airline's eighth route from Blackpool airport and means there will now be two companies flying off to the Spanish resort. Jet2's service will go head to head with flights from Monarch airlines, also due to start in 2007.
The Jet2 service will initially be five times a week, with a morning departure from Blackpool, arriving back late evening. Boss Philip Meeson said: 'Our timings will suit families, leaving Blackpool at 08:00 and arriving in Spain in time for lunch.'
Flights will start at £39.99 one way including taxes and are available from today via the website at www.jet2.com. The route will run from March 26 to the end of October 2007.
