New Madeira flights announced

Passengers will be able to fly from Blackpool Airport to Madeira this summer after a holiday company decided to expand its operation from the hub. Atlantic Holidays, a Portuguese specialist, will offer 7 night packages to Funchal with flights from Blackpool.
Holidaymakers can choose from 3 to 5 star accommodation, with travel dates between May 23 and September 26. A spokesman for the holiday company said: ‘We are delighted to add Blackpool to our portfolio. We are confident that Madeira will prove extremely popular, and will be using a Monarch Airlines A320 aircraft to operate these flights solely for Atlantic Holidays.'
