Monarch to increase seats on Blackpool airport - Malaga flights

Low cost airline Monarch Scheduled is set to increase its seats on flights from at Blackpool Airport. The Luton-based airline, which flies to Malaga on the Costa del Sol from Blackpool, is to offer more seats on the route from November.
More than 26,000 passengers have already taken advantage of Monarch's low fares flights from Blackpool to Malaga since its launch last year. Bosses are now confident more will be snapped up next winter, so the airline's new winter schedule will offer 600 seats per week by using Monarch's new 214-seater Airbus aircraft which will be based at Blackpool airport.
More than 13,000 seats have already been pre-booked for this summer with airport bosses expecting to hit their 750,000 passenger target by the end of 2006.
