Bookshop to open at Blackpool Airport next week

Bookworms flying from Blackpool Airport will be delighted to know that a new WH Smith shop at the terminal opens on Monday. 10 jobs have been created by the high street chain as it prepares to serve passengers using the terminal.
The WH Smith store occupies a 750 sq ft unit at the terminal and will sell books, newspapers, magazines and confectionery. It is the latest development at the airport following the completion of a £2m refurbishment of the terminal building. There are also plans to open more shops in the spacious departure lounge, which is also home to a duty free area and bars.
