More flights and a new airline at Blackpool airport?

Rumours on Internet chat boards suggest that Blackpool airport is about to gain new flights and a new airline. The airport is not commenting, and the new airline is said to be 'very angry' that the story has leaked out ahead of an official announcement.
There are claims that regional airline Euromanx wants to launch flights on the popular Isle of Man - Blackpool route route. This follows the demise of British North West Airlines this week.
There have also been reports that a new airline is to start services from Blackpool using Fokker F50 turboprops. Apparently the airline wants to operate twice daily flights to Southampton and Edinburgh, daily flights to Aberdeen and Newquay, and flights on the popular Blackpool - Isle of Man - Belfast route.
Fares are going to be from £29 for English routes, and from £49 for Scottish routes, the source says, adding that the operator already holds an OAC, suggesting that it could be VLM. Other airlines that could fly those routes - although not with the same planes - include Jet2 and Flyglobespan.
Blackpool Airport are not releasing any information, as the new operator is apparently very angry that the airline story leaked out!
