Three charged after huge drugs find at Blackpool airport

Three men have been charged after the discovery of cocaine with an estimated street value of several million pounds at Blackpool Airport. Police and Customs Officers found the 18kg (39lb) haul in a suitcase in a privately-chartered light aircraft on Friday night.
Two men from Wigan, aged 23 and 26, and a 52-year-old from Dortmund, Germany, have been charged with the illegal importation of drugs. They are due to appear at Blackpool Magistrates' Court today.
