Manx2 plane suffers burst tyre on landing

A Manx2 flight from the Isle of Man suffered a tyre burst on landing yesterday at Blackpool Airport. No one was hurt and, other than a burst tyre, there was no damage to the plane.
A Manx2 spokesman said: ‘The Let-410 plane landed safely and all 9 passengers left the flight without incident. An additional plane was flown to Blackpool carrying a spare tyre and an engineer. This plane was then used to fly passengers on the flight scheduled to leave at 12:20 to the Isle of Man [although by then it was almost two hours late].’
